About M3 Floodtec
M3 Floodtec provides flood protection for residential and commercial properties and infrastructure. We aim to protect all potential areas of water ingress both above and below ground. We operate throughout the UK and globally from our base in Droitwich, offering a suite of registered designs and patent-protected flood defence products that are independently tested and proven to be flood resistant. All of our products are specifically designed to keep flood water out of properties and away from critical infrastructure.

Acquisition of Flood Protection IP
We acquired patents, designs, and intellectual property from Global Flood Defence Holdings Ltd, including UKFB and Flood Angel products.
2018
M3 Floodtec Moves to Droitwich Factory
M3 Floodtec established operations in our new Droitwich facility to support flood protection projects.
2019
Upgrading Testing Facilities
Our BSI-approved testing facility was upgraded to meet new British Standards for flood-resistant products, including impact testing and advanced wave simulation.
2020
Joining the Parliamentary Review
M3 joined the Parliamentary Review to help set standards and promote best practices in the flood industry.

Preparing for PAS 851188
We adapted our Droitwich test tank to meet the new flood product testing specification PAS 851188, ahead of its January 2021 implementation.

First PFR Flood Protection for Chestnut Homes
We delivered our first Property Flood Resilience (PFR) flood protection project for new homes built in floodplains.

Forged Solutions Group Investment
Forged Solutions Group invested £0.5 million in flood protection for critical assets, our largest contract to date at Meadowhall and River Don sites.

BSI Standard BS851188 Awarded
M3 Floodtec became the first UK flood protection specialist to have PFR products tested to the new BSI Standard BS851188.

This state of the art facility can test products to BSI’s new BS 851188, as well as demonstrating to clients what can be achieved in regard to property flood resilience with M3’s specialist solutions.

Certified Flood Protection Standards
The introduction of the new British Standard BS 851188 sets goals that suppliers must reach, and more customers are now insisting on BSI Kitemark Certified products. Our commitment to being able to supply certified products is absolute and backed by investment in our state-of-the-art test facility at our Worcestershire head office.
BS 851188 sets rigorous performance requirements for flood protection products, ensuring they are tested to withstand real flood conditions. Systems certified to this standard provide proven reliability and give property owners confidence in their flood resilience measures.
