New Flood Product Testing Specification

The old test rigs and wave paddles have been ripped out to make way for a brand new state of the art 7 paddle wave machine that is currently being manufactured and will be installed and commissioned by Specialists; Edinburgh Designs Ltd. This new wave generator will develop wave sequencing in line with the Jonswarp wave spectrum with the wave intensity and measurement all controlled by a bespoke computer program. 

As well as the new wave generator Impact testing is being installed, a new much lighter version of the Self Activating Barrier will replace the old Self Activating Flood Barrier and a new low cost Hydro Dynamic pop up barrier will be installed. 

The Flood house which sits inside the tank is being completely refurbished and will contain the full range of BSI Kitemarked flood products for both above and below ground prevention of flooding to depths of 900mm.
