The Problem

Located on the lower ground floor at the rear of an Edwardian terrace in Brondesbury, North London, access to the property was via a downgrade and stepped footpath to the front entrance.

Rain water run off from the road naturally found a path down the slope to the front door and despite temporary sand bag barriers, flood events were a constant worry to the owners.

The Solution

The customer required the door to match as closely to the original as possible. After contacting M3 Floodtec, a permanent passive flood solution to install a BS KitemarkTM Certified Flood Defender UPVC flood door and side screen was proposed and selected to prevent water ingress into the property.

Manufacturing survey was undertaken in March with installation commencing in May 2023 and were completed within 1 day.
