The Problem

Maintaining business continuity is fundamental to the success of any operation. When flooding occurs, regardless of the cause, a lack of adequate flood protection and resilience can significantly disrupt operations.

In this case, ageing wooden windows and a deteriorated rear door provided insufficient resistance to flood water, increasing the vulnerability of the property.

The Solution

The existing windows and doors were upgraded to improve flood resilience. A flood-proof front façade was installed, incorporating an anti-flood door with a black external finish and white internal finish.

At the rear, the door and screen were replaced with a new white UPVC Flood Defender door and panel screen, complete with a Georgian wire panel and top lights, enhancing both protection and durability.
